We provide stylized investment and portfolio management services to individuals and institutions. We work closely with clients to develop and tailor individual portfolios to the client’s financial objectives and risk profile. Most of our clients are interested in direct exposure to individual equities. However, portfolios managed by CJK may also include ETFs, ETNs, mutual funds, and debt securities to diversify exposure and moderate volatility. Any mutual funds used are external and chosen based on a client's objectives and risk preferences.

We are fee-only. This contrasts with many models in which the broker receives a commission for placing clients in a set of funds managed by the broker’s parent company.

CJK commenced operations on January 1, 2015 and is owned and operated by Ken Cavalluzzo. Dr. Cavalluzzo earned his Ph.D. in accounting from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1998. He earned his master’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania and in 1990 his bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.

Prior to starting CJK, Dr. Cavalluzzo was a Principal, Research Analyst and Portfolio Manager with SVA Plumb Wealth Management, a $1.8 billion investment firm located in Madison, Wisconsin. As a voting member of the firm’s investment committee, Dr. Cavalluzzo was intimately involved in stock, bond and mutual fund selection for the company’s clients. He also co-managed two mutual funds, the Plumb Balanced Fund and the Plumb Equity Fund.
